What is Ordemio’s Slack Integration?
The Slack integration brings Ordemio’s AI support agent into your Slack workspace.
There are two main use cases:
Internal support → Your team can use the AI to get answers about internal processes, policies, and instructions.
Customer support → You can create AI-powered support channels in Slack communities, reducing tickets and keeping support organized.
How it works (step by step)
Open your Ordemio dashboard.
Go to Integrations > Applications, then select Slack.
Click Connect.
Add your Slack workspace.
Ordemio will request access to your Slack workspace.
In the field “Where should Ordemio AI Support post?”, choose the channel you’ve already created for AI support (e.g.
#ai_support).
Click Allow.
Return to Integrations > Applications. You’ll see Slack connected, with two buttons: Change and Disconnect.

Choose a Slack channel where the AI replies automatically to every message — no need to mention it first.
How to use this integration in Slack
Add the AI bot to a channel manually
First, make sure the Ordemio AI app is added in the Integrations section of your Slack workspace.
Open the Slack channel you created for AI support.
Mention the Ordemio AI bot and ask a question.
Slack will prompt you to add the bot to the channel → click Add them.
Now, whenever you mention the AI bot, it will reply in a thread under your message. You and others can continue the conversation there.
Auto-reply in a dedicated support channel
If you set up a channel in Ordemio with Auto-reply in the below channel, the AI bot will reply automatically to every message in that Slack channel.
All replies appear in threads, so other members can join and continue the conversation.
Example: In
#ai_support, every message posted will trigger a reply from the AI agent.
